(OLIVEIRA, 2018; NETO, 2018) Evidence shows that 52.2% are women and 47.8% are men who have already have or are using the substance, it is important to remember that the practice is directly associated with the male audience, but over time the female public has sought to use it to gain greater strength and muscular hypertrophy, due to dissatisfaction with one's body.
