That is why it is so important that families and educators ensure that our students have access to this gateway to the infinite knowledge of the world and can, through reading, identify and value their human power. In this practice, teacher Nara Alexo da Silva, responsible for the reading room, is concerned with choosing the book according to the age group of the classroom, where she also stimulates creativity and imagination, making the student invent the end of the story and together arrive in a context. This reading practice stimulates creativity, text interpretation and especially the literacy of students from 1st to 5th year of elementary school.
