Alfabetização e Neurociência: adaptando-se as mudanças
(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2024-10-30) MARQUES, Lilian Santos; SANTOS, Leila Aparecida dos; DOCEMA, Hemily Carvalho Bensi; MEDICI, Fátima Aparecida; SANTOS, Sergio Ricardo dos; SALA, Patrícia Vasconcellos
The Integrated Project aims to integrate children’s emotional development with literacy practice, using playful activities to explore and express feelings. This approach not only helps with cognitive development, but also with emotional development, promoting a more complete and holistic education. Neuroscience applied to education studies how children’s brains learn and how emotional factors influence the learning process. This Project is a powerful tool that integrates knowledge from neuroscience applied to education, literacy practices and adaptation skills. By focusing on emotions, the project not only improves children’s reading and writing skills, but also promotes their emotional and social well-being, better preparing them to face academic and personal challenges. By working with emotions, the project helps children understand and regulate their feelings, which is crucial for learning. Positive emotions such as joy and interest can increase motivation and attention, facilitating the literacy process. Recognizing and naming emotions stimulates areas of the brain linked to language and cognition development, promoting more effective and meaningful literacy. By combining feelings and words, children learn to express emotions through written and spoken language, developing their reading and writing skills in an integrated and meaningful way. The proposed activities help children expand their emotional vocabulary, improving their ability to communicate and express themselves. The use of stories and drawings involves active methodologies that make the literacy process more engaging and relevant for children. Activities that involve creativity and emotional expression help children become more flexible and open to new experiences, facilitating their adaptation to different contexts and situations.

    Fundamentos Pedagógicos: Leitura e Prática
(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-10-30) GOMES, Paula da Silva; MEDICI, Fátima Aparecida; SANTOS, Sergio Ricardo dos
Reading is capable of transforming human beings and, consequently, the world. When reading, we develop linguistic, interpretative, reasoning, concentration, expression and creativity skills, among others. Paulo Freire goes further and says that “reading is becoming aware, is to interpret the world” and that we all want and need to be capable of that. That is why it is so important that families and educators ensure that our students have access to this gateway to the infinite knowledge of the world and can, through reading, identify and value their human power. Remembering that the practice of reading affects the cognitive, social and emotional development of the individual.

The frequent use of motorized transport occurs for several reasons, among which we can highlight: safety, agility and comfort. The advancement of technology has contributed to this fact taking on even greater proportions. This makes other transportation options less popular. The consequence of this is the high number of vehicles circulating, especially in large cities, leading to an increase in polluting gases in the atmosphere, which is harmful to the environment and health. A great alternative is to use a bicycle as a way of using economical and healthy transport. The bicycle is not only an alternative for urban mobility, but it can also bring many benefits, such as: improving well-being and promoting healthier experiences. However, to become a sustainable means of transport it would be necessary to increase cycle paths and install bicycle racks, so that their use can be integrated with other means, always valuing education and especially traffic safety.

Motorized transport has a direct impact on the quality of life, characterized by a reduction in public space and an increase in pollution. It is concluded that some factors contribute to this growth, such as: favorable credit conditions and a reduction in the collective use of public transport, improved in the population's income and tax incentives. In this sense, traffic congestion, the emission of gases and pollutants and the greenhouse effect, have been one of the main causes of urban pollution, studies conclude that the health consequences are prolonged and compared to noise pollution, including increased stress. which directly and negatively affects people's quality of life.

(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-09-30) PRADO, Carina Santos Mattos; FREITAS, Dayara Maria de; JEREMIAS, Eidemara; SILVA, Janaina dos Santos; SANTOS, Sergio Ricardo dos
With the increase in the use of motorized transport, we can see that traffic is the main cause of air pollution in cities, as it is one of the biggest emitters of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases, the main cause of climate change, and an important part of the urban population breathes this polluted air. For this reason, we must seek to combat air pollution, investing in new methodologies to raise awareness among the population. In fact, we live in a period in which the exploitation of the environment is causing enormous damage to natural resources. Today's facilities, comfort and new technologies bring countless advantages, but they undermine sustainable development. To try to contain pollution and add sustainability, the use of bicycles in urban centers is an alternative to non-motorized travel, thus being an ally in reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) and an ally in promoting the user's health, taking into account since its use improves the cardiovascular and respiratory system. However, raising awareness among the population to opt for cycling depends on improvements in the cities' infrastructure, such as: construction of cycle paths, bicycle racks, street lighting and signage in order to bring more safety to users.

With the emergence of industries in the cities, people left their lives in the countryside and migrated to the cities, bringing new social and technological dilemmas and thus satisfying the population's desire to move from one place to another with ease, so it was increasingly emerging. more cars, buses, bicycles. Cars presented a comfortable and efficient way to solve mobility problems, the technology became absurdly popular, causing harmful gases. One of the main aspects is due to the effects of the global use of motor vehicles, problems involved concern gas residues and pollution released in motor vehicles, which advises campaigns for the use of bicycles and vehicles powered by other fuels such as alcohol, and even even electrical energy. To improve the quality of life in cities, and reduce the high economic costs of transport and to combat air pollution, traffic is also one of the biggest emitters of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases, responsible for climate change. . The political incentive for alternative transport is essential for sustainable urban mobility such as cycling, the implementation of cycle paths on several roads to guarantee visibility, loans and bicycle parking, encouraging the use of bicycles.
