Teacher Ana Paula Silva is planning an interdisciplinary project that combines Geography and History content for her 3rd grade students. The goal is to help students better understand the concepts of geographic space, culture and society, using approaches that make learning more meaningful and engaging.

Since the beginning, art and culture have always been manipulated and censored. Censorship is not new in our society. It has been present since the emergence of culture. Because culture is an order, society is not always in favor of this order, so a conflict is created between citizens who do not accept this “culture” and those who do. Censorship and art are directly intertwined with society’s behavior, in order to control society over what is and is not allowed.
