Natura is present in 64 cities located in the country and has a network of 6.5 thousand employees, 1.8 million consultants. Natura is the first company in Latin America to account for the impact of its business on the environment and society. In recent years Natura has invested about 2 billion thus raising the level of its technological infrastructure and logistics. The company has been investing to provide information, payment applications and other instruments to boost consultants' performance. Throughout the chapters will be presented the fundamental accounting concepts, including the analysis of the latest balance sheets disclosed by the company and also the net profit values. Understanding the classification of each account group is very important so that the income statement for the year has its meaning fully understood. Going through the concept of finance, there is the explanation of the index that underlies this project: the IGP-M.
