    Identifying and aiming to solve structural problems in the municipality of Divinolândia-SP, the project brings with it proposals that correlate the study units proposals. During the development of the article it will be noted that the solution to the problem addressed will be mitigated through the creation of a public policy, in which, Some, Risked and Menezes (2015) discuss its primary function of understanding and theoretically formulating the questions that involve a topic, as well as subsequently understanding the reasons for which governments choose certain actions to carry out empirical measures. So that these measures can be assertive and well-founded, the work will revolve around the discipline of economics and public management, being aware that, by understanding the function and progress public purchases facilitate the policy creation process, following the From the same perspective, the study of local growth and development will provide a complete basis for the assertiveness of political decision-making. In short, the development of the project will be able to assist the public administration of the municipality and will be able to bring, in based solutions, a perspective of improving socioeconomic indicators of the city, in the long term, contributing to growth and local development.

    Ribeirão Preto, located in the interior of São Paulo, is a relevant urban center and economic of the country. This study aims to examine the economic growth process of city, from its creation to the present day, focusing on the elements that promoted its expansion and the obstacles the city faces. Topics such as relevance of the agricultural sector, economic diversification, infrastructure, education and health, as well as a critical assessment of economic and social indicators. In this project, a broad economic analysis of the city of Ribeirão will be carried out Preto, inquiring into its development and growth process and the factors that influenced this economic evolution. The growth and economic development of a city are processes dynamic, influenced by various historical, geographic and economic factors. Ribeirão Preto, one of the main urban centers in the interior of São Paulo, provides a study intriguing about how a city can become a relevant regional center in the state of São Paulo, both in the agricultural sector and in areas such as services and industry. In the last few decades, the city witnessed accelerated growth in population and economy, favored by its strategic position, infrastructure and business environment. With this work it will be possible to analyze all the factors that contributed to this growth and unifying with all the subjects covered in the semester. In this study, it will be examined the structural elements that drive the advancement of Ribeirão Preto, such as economic diversification, the effect of agribusiness, the expansion of the service sector and the development of strategic areas, such as education and health. Also making a inquiry into the influence of investments in infrastructure and the role of innovations technologies in the city's economy. The purpose of the analysis is to provide a complete view of the forces and obstacles that formed the economy of Ribeirão Preto, with the aim of not only understanding its trajectory development, but also recognize future possibilities for sustainable development of the region and analyzing in all points requests for the matters covered in this academic semester.
