    We see that histology studies the cells and the extracellular material that make up the tissues of the body, initially histology was limited by the limited capacity of the optical microscope, but over time electronic microscopes appeared that considerably expanded the field of study of histology. Therefore, this work intends to demonstrate the use of histological techniques for microscopic analysis. We can observe that the most used for this analysis is the optical microscope that leaves the structure of the sample more enlarged for better observation, for this process it is necessary to collect a sample of the tissue of such organism, which can be removed after the death of the “donor” which is called a necropsy, or during a biopsy. To avoid proliferation and prevent microorganism autolysis, preserving its real morphology, offering greater resistance for the next steps, then we perform cleavage, which consists of a process of reducing the dimensions of the fragments present in the collected sample. It is noteworthy that the microscopies in common use also include phase contrast microscopy, confocal microscopy, and transmission and scanning electron microscopy. identification, characterization, analysis and description of the structures of the numerous tissues and organs that make up the animal organism, also resulting in a diagnosis, through comparative studies of pathological and healthy tissues

In the laboratory sector, the requirements of consumers are focused on the actions that the organization performs with its biological discards and actions aimed at reducing their negative impacts on environment. With the eyes of stakeholders focused on changes organizations and their impacts on the environment the objective of this work is to analyze the sustainable practices of a clinical analysis laboratory. Currently, much is heard about sustainability in organizations, but it has always been like that. The business sector and ecology were considered more distant. Ecology is considered the science that studies the relationship between organisms living and their environment. For the business world, ecology is considered a support that provides the necessary resources for companies to develop their activities. In the 1990s it was possible to observe a scenario of changes in the worldwide economic and productive process that brought implications for companies. To the transformations in the international economy and the globalization of production and consumption were accompanied by other changes, such as an increase in the level of demand for consumers with the quality of the products offered. With a view to scenario in which more and more stakeholders (the organization's strategic public) require the organization to turn its attention to sustainability it is necessary understand how an organization responds to these pressures.

    The term sustainability has become even more popular since 1987, when the World Commission on Environment and Development of the United Nations used in its report, known as the Brundtland Report, a related term, sustainable development (CLARO; CLARO; AMÂNCIO, 2008 ). Sustainability, according to Verdugo (2010), can be presented as the balance between what is good for people and their communities and what is needed to maintain natural and social resources in order to guarantee the survival of human beings. Sustainable development is responsible for meeting the needs of the present, within ecological limits, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (BRUNDTLAND, 1991) For Tenório (2006) the objective of sustainable development is to grow economically through conservation of the environment and respect for the aspirations of social agents, contributing to improving the lives of the population.

    Laboratory of clinical analysis are generators of various residues, such as chemical materials, sharp objects and common garbage, and end up generating waste that needs proper disposal. Therefore, it is essential to follow the determinations of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), which defines specific criteria for the disposal of each waste. Therefore, in the search for sustainability Laboratories can contribute to the preservation of the environment environment to the current extent consciously preventing possible impacts related to its activity, adopting norms related to environmental management.

    The incessant search for quality of life and a cleaner environment makes Sustainability is an extremely important tool in the society we live in. To the cities are increasingly polluted and this is easily noticed. the amount of garbage has grown considerably, toxic substances are disposed of along the domestic sewer and even outdoors, in addition to the clouds of smoke that hang in the air, contributing to the increase in respiratory diseases. Faced with so much negative impact, citizens have charged from companies and public spheres, improvement actions to control and reduce of this scenario. Aware of their responsibilities and positioning themselves as a social organization, some companies have adhered to sustainability actions to seek a balance with the environment. Waste management has been shown to be a alternative to be incorporated into business processes, in order to minimize the impacts generated by the activity, promoting the management of corporate waste and the elimination of material waste, promoting recycling and correct disposal.

    The study of cells and tissues and the way in which these structures are organized is called Histology. All this study is done with the help of microscopes due to the small size of these cells. In view of the current scenario, we can say that the study of histology has received more and more importance, since with the advances in technology and medicine we have the possibility of creating countless possibilities and answers. Daily, several medical diagnoses are confirmed through biopsy, allowing us to study the cause of death and, through this study, perhaps, achieve advances, allowing that cause of death, perhaps, to be delayed or even cured.
