    Histology is based on the study of cells, carrying the essential objective for study and research to know the types of fabrics, understand the characteristics, understand their functions and identify the specializations visualized in the light or optical microscope. Associate chemistry, biology, physiology, immunology and pathology, histology is directly related research areas of diseases and interactions in health. It is ideal to know the tools necessary methods of investigation and their functions in a manner suitable for the practical use of the understanding of the structures, functioning of cells, tissues and organs.     Histology (histo= tissues, logia= study). According to George's Comparative Histology, Alves and Castro (1997) histological studies stand out in Animal Histology and vegetable. In the animal, general histology is obtained, which studies the characteristics, functions and properties of each tissue and the special histology whose study is associated with various tissues necessary for the constitution of an organ, studies its structure microscopic. It seeks to know and understand the way in which these other clustered sets work, being by their own resourcefulness and/or geared towards to its organs – where each one is responsible for a certain function, either for coating, protecting, curing or even serving as a "step" for cases where there is need for a reserve member.

The collection can be done when the organism is still alive, through a biopsy. or during surgery; or even after death, during necropsy of animals or human beings. This method consists of obtaining very thin cuts of fragments of organs, so thin that light can pass through them.

    The incessant search for quality of life and a cleaner environment makes Sustainability is an extremely important tool in the society we live in. To the cities are increasingly polluted and this is easily noticed. the amount of garbage has grown considerably, toxic substances are disposed of along the domestic sewer and even outdoors, in addition to the clouds of smoke that hang in the air, contributing to the increase in respiratory diseases. Faced with so much negative impact, citizens have charged from companies and public spheres, improvement actions to control and reduce of this scenario. Aware of their responsibilities and positioning themselves as a social organization, some companies have adhered to sustainability actions to seek a balance with the environment. Waste management has been shown to be a alternative to be incorporated into business processes, in order to minimize the impacts generated by the activity, promoting the management of corporate waste and the elimination of material waste, promoting recycling and correct disposal.

    The study of cells and tissues and the way in which these structures are organized is called Histology. All this study is done with the help of microscopes due to the small size of these cells. In view of the current scenario, we can say that the study of histology has received more and more importance, since with the advances in technology and medicine we have the possibility of creating countless possibilities and answers. Daily, several medical diagnoses are confirmed through biopsy, allowing us to study the cause of death and, through this study, perhaps, achieve advances, allowing that cause of death, perhaps, to be delayed or even cured.

    Histology is the science that studies cells in the context of tissue structure and their interrelation with the constituents of the extracellular matrix. The histotechnology provides an understanding of the technical foundations for the analysis of the elements tissue, normal or pathological, that is, its cells and matrix elements extracellular analysis, including several histochemical techniques. The technical procedures applied in histotechnology include cytochemical, histochemical, immunohistochemical techniques, aimed at scientific research and pathological diagnosis, in addition to of analyzes at the level of electronic microscopy (JUNQUEIRA; CARNEIRO, 2017). In this chapter, considerations will only be made on the histological techniques focused on histochemical and immunohistochemical analysis of tissues.

    With the aid of microscopes, research in chemical, physiological, immunological areas and pathological, histology studies cells, tissues, and the ways that organ structures are organized (JUNQUEIRA; CARNEIRO, 2017). Therefore, this article aims to demonstrate the realization of histological techniques, set of processes for the proper observation of the tissues, and histochemistry, which consists of the study of the chemical constitution of cells and tissues, through the preparation of materials for microscopic analysis (JUNQUEIRA; CARNEIRO, 2017). For this, the light or optical microscope is mainly used, composed of mechanical and optical parts, which forms the image of the observed structure enlarged, performed by the objective and eyepiece, from the emission of light rays, projected by the condenser (JUNQUEIRA; CARNEIRO, 2017), which cross the fabric due to the cuts histological examinations made by the microtome, a precise instrument that cuts extremely thin slices to obtaining samples.
