All this study is done with the help of microscopes due to the small size of these cells. In view of the current scenario, we can say that the study of histology has received more and more importance, since with the advances in technology and medicine we have the possibility of creating countless possibilities and answers. Currently, much is heard about sustainability in organizations, but it has always been like that. The business sector and ecology were considered more distant. Ecology is considered the science that studies the relationship between organisms living and their environment. For the business world, ecology is considered a support that provides the necessary resources for companies to develop their activities. In the 1990s it was possible to observe a scenario of changes in the worldwide economic and productive process that brought implications for companies. To the transformations in the international economy and the globalization of production and consumption were accompanied by other changes, such as an increase in the level of demand for consumers with the quality of the products offered. The concern with health led to an increase in demand for health services, resulting in an increase in the generation of hospital waste. The waste generated by the health area can put human and environmental health at risk due to the fact that they contain sharp materials and substances with a high level of contamination, requiring a series of precautions from use to disposal, needing to be conducted in a way to minimize the risks for those who handle and treat them to avoid degradation of the environment. As the concept of sustainability became more widespread and applied in the operational practice of companies, including clinical laboratories, objectives, targets and indicators began to be established to monitor institutional sustainability planning. Therefore, this work intends to demonstrate the use of histological techniques for microscopic analysis. We can observe that the most used for this analysis is the optical microscope that leaves the structure of the sample more enlarged for better observation, for this process it is necessary to collect a sample of the tissue of such organism, which can be removed after the death of the “donor” which is called a necropsy, or during a biopsy. To avoid proliferation and prevent microorganism autolysis, preserving its real morphology, offering greater resistance for the next steps, then we perform cleavage, which consists of a process of reducing the dimensions of the fragments present in the collected sample. Collection can be done when the organism is still alive, through biopsy or during surgery; or even after death, during necropsy of animals or humans. This method consists of obtaining very thin sections of organ fragments, so thin that light can pass through them. When a tissue is removed from your body, it begins an autolysis process, so that this does not occur, we have the fixation process that interrupts this self-destruction, prevents the proliferation of micro-organism colonies and guarantees the quality of the tissue for further research.
