    The discussion on sustainability emerged about 40 years ago with the aim of meeting human needs and ensuring the future of the next generations without compromising it. In 2002, the Kyoto Protocol was drawn up at Rio+10, where a commitment was signed with the most industrialized countries that produced large amounts of polluting waste. At this world summit, the development of sustainability was summarized in three pillars: economic, social and environmental.
