Due to the small dimensions of the cells, their study is performed with the aid of microscopes. In this chapter, these instruments will be presented, and some ways used to prepare cells, tissues, and organs for microscopic analysis. In addition, some of the more used to investigate the function and metabolism of these structures (JUNQUEIRA; CARNEIRO, 2017)Item MICROSCOPIA E HISTOTÉCNICAS(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-05-19) OLIVEIRA, Ana Laura Mello de; MULINA, Ana Lívia; PASSONI, Annalisa; STRACIERI, Gabrieli; FRIZO, Heloisa Nunes; CORRÊA, João Victor; SILVA, Livia Conceição de Mello; SILVA, Manuela Cabrera da; CARDOSO, Taynara; SILVA, Victória Pinheiro Carvalho; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo De; SANTOS, Odair José dos; ROSSI, Cíntia Lima; ROSA, Ricardo AlexandreWe see that histology studies the cells and the extracellular material that make up the tissues of the body, initially histology was limited by the limited capacity of the optical microscope, but over time electronic microscopes appeared that considerably expanded the field of study of histology. Therefore, this work intends to demonstrate the use of histological techniques for microscopic analysis. We can observe that the most used for this analysis is the optical microscope that leaves the structure of the sample more enlarged for better observation, for this process it is necessary to collect a sample of the tissue of such organism, which can be removed after the death of the “donor” which is called a necropsy, or during a biopsy. To avoid proliferation and prevent microorganism autolysis, preserving its real morphology, offering greater resistance for the next steps, then we perform cleavage, which consists of a process of reducing the dimensions of the fragments present in the collected sample. It is noteworthy that the microscopies in common use also include phase contrast microscopy, confocal microscopy, and transmission and scanning electron microscopy. identification, characterization, analysis and description of the structures of the numerous tissues and organs that make up the animal organism, also resulting in a diagnosis, through comparative studies of pathological and healthy tissuesItem LABORATORIO CLINICO E SUSTENTABILIDADE(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-05-19) CORREA, Ana Carolina de Roque; MELO, Bruna Estefane Gomes de; ZANETI, Camilly Sassaron; ALVES, Cecilia Rodrigues; MARCELINO, Gabriela Leite; FERREIRA, Maria Eduarda; LUCAS, Marília de Toledo; SOUZA, Carlos A. In the laboratory sector, the requirements of consumers are focused on the actions that the organization performs with its biological discards and actions aimed at reducing their negative impacts on environment. With the eyes of stakeholders focused on changes organizations and their impacts on the environment the objective of this work is to analyze the sustainable practices of a clinical analysis laboratory. Currently, much is heard about sustainability in organizations, but it has always been like that. The business sector and ecology were considered more distant. Ecology is considered the science that studies the relationship between organisms living and their environment. For the business world, ecology is considered a support that provides the necessary resources for companies to develop their activities. In the 1990s it was possible to observe a scenario of changes in the worldwide economic and productive process that brought implications for companies. To the transformations in the international economy and the globalization of production and consumption were accompanied by other changes, such as an increase in the level of demand for consumers with the quality of the products offered. With a view to scenario in which more and more stakeholders (the organization's strategic public) require the organization to turn its attention to sustainability it is necessary understand how an organization responds to these pressures.Item LABORATÓRIO CLÍNICO E SUSTENTABILIDADE(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-05-19) DIAS, Caio Reis; VENTIRELLI, Camila; ALVES, Gabriely Araújo; MUNHOZ, Maísa Lidiane; BENEDUZI, Natália Pereira; JANIZELO, Stefany Moraes; SOUZA, Carlos A. Colozzo de; ROQUETO, Marco Antônio; CONCEIÇÃO, Rogério Arcuri; FERRERIA, Hevisley Willian C.; ROSA, Ricardo AlexandreThe term sustainability has become even more popular since 1987, when the World Commission on Environment and Development of the United Nations used in its report, known as the Brundtland Report, a related term, sustainable development (CLARO; CLARO; AMÂNCIO, 2008 ). Sustainability, according to Verdugo (2010), can be presented as the balance between what is good for people and their communities and what is needed to maintain natural and social resources in order to guarantee the survival of human beings. Sustainable development is responsible for meeting the needs of the present, within ecological limits, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (BRUNDTLAND, 1991) For Tenório (2006) the objective of sustainable development is to grow economically through conservation of the environment and respect for the aspirations of social agents, contributing to improving the lives of the population.Item Laboratório clínico e sustentabilidade(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-05-19) REIS, Ana Carolina Alves; PAULA, Laura Vieira de; MANCUSO, Luis Phelipe de Luca; RAMOS, Mariana de Oliveira; ACÁCIO, Marcela Cristina; TORATTI, William Ricardo; SOUZA, Carlos A. Colozzo de; ROQUETO, Marco Antônio; CONCEIÇÃO, Rogério Arcuri; FERRERIA, Hevisley Willian C.; ROSA, Ricardo AlexandreLaboratory of clinical analysis are generators of various residues, such as chemical materials, sharp objects and common garbage, and end up generating waste that needs proper disposal. Therefore, it is essential to follow the determinations of the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa), which defines specific criteria for the disposal of each waste. Therefore, in the search for sustainability Laboratories can contribute to the preservation of the environment environment to the current extent consciously preventing possible impacts related to its activity, adopting norms related to environmental management.Item Laboratório Clínico e Sustentabilidade(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2023-05-19) ANDRÉ, Amanda de Oliveira; ROQUE, Arieli Vitória; AGUIAR, Beatriz Maria Alves; NICOLAU, Larissa Fernanda Correia; OLIVEIRA, Lívia Aparecida de; MUNIZ, Mariana Veiga; LANZONI, Mariana Veiga; SOUZA, Carlos A. Colozzo de; ROQUETO, Marco Antônio; CONCEIÇÃO, Rogério Arcuri; FERRERIA, Hevisley Willian C.; ROSA, Ricardo AlexandreThe impacts of activities in a clinical laboratory affect shareholders, employees, suppliers, consumers and also the community in the region where it is located, which, together, constitute a network of stakeholders. There is a combination of factors indicating that laboratories can no longer be concerned solely with obtaining profit, as their activities are not restricted to the economic sphere, they also generate effects on the environment and society. Sustainability can be applied anywhere, in everyday routine, at work, until it becomes a habit.Item PROJETO DE HISTOTÉCNICAS(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2022-06-30) ZINGONI, Amanda Fernandes; XAVIER, Ana Carolina V.; CUNHA, Cainã Tupá da; SILVA, Fellipe Kozerski; BETITO, Gabriel A. According to George's Comparative Histology, Alves and Castro (1997) histological studies stand out in Animal Histology and vegetable. In the animal, general histology is obtained, which studies the characteristics, functions and properties of each tissue and the special histology whose study is associated with various tissues necessary for the constitution of an organ, studies its structure microscopic. It seeks to know and understand the way in which these other clustered sets work, being by their own resourcefulness and/or geared towards to its organs – where each one is responsible for a certain function, either for coating, protecting, curing or even serving as a "step" for cases where there is need for a reserve member.
