FRANCHI, Tatiana Di LúciaAnorexia, far from being an object of study only for psychology, is part of a broad epistemological base insofar as its behavioral symptomatology advocates thinness as an aesthetic ideal. The literature indicates an increase in eating disorders, especially in our time marked by power relations whose target and investment is the body. Today is characterized by society itself making aesthetic investments, nudity is encouraged, on the other hand, very specific aesthetic qualities such as thinness are required.
