In this integrated project, we were given the opportunity to study the acquisition of Banco Bradesco, which acquired Banco HSBC on July 1, 2016 for the amount of 17.6 billion reais, mainly with a view to consolidating itself as the second largest Brazilian private bank and expanding its portfolio of clients, agencies and active cities. When studying the case, we noticed that the purchase was very positive for Bradesco as it further strengthened its operations in the Brazilian market and especially in the Southeast region where the British bank HSBC was very strong and active. from the acquisition, Bradesco got closer and closer to its main competitor and also the largest Brazilian private bank, Itaú.

We can consider that Claro S.A. is a good company to apply, as it is linked to the telecommunications market, being the 2nd largest. With its merger with Nextel in 2019, we can see, through the calculated indices, that Claro, even with its expenses with the process, obtained positive results in 2019. Operating results such as Nopat, Ebit and Ebtida, showed growth because of with which sales increased with the purchase of Nextel. The expectation is that this result will increase relatively in the year 2020.

In this interdisciplinary project, the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement of a company will be prepared. With the release of simulated accounting events and real data extracted from the BMF Bovespa, it was possible to prepare the necessary reports to carry out this project. To carry out this project, Lojas Renner S.A. was used as a base.

This Interdisciplinary Project will address more advanced accounting in order to demonstrate the entire accounting process of a real company. The company chosen for the project was Lojas Renner S.A, which continues in the market with a wide network of departments. From the available balance sheet, the chart of accounts was created in the system and all the necessary financial statements were prepared.

In this interdisciplinary project, the objective is to show how the disciplines fit together and are essential to show how theory is essential for the perfection of practice and that theory without practice is like having the recipe for the cake, but not being able to eat it. . Theory is necessary for the execution to be perfect, having mastered the theory, it may be that you can find other ways to execute without breaking the rules that are essential in our profession. Preparing our reports is essential to have mastery of these two tools, preparing a DFC (cash flow statement) will be our great challenge.

Boeing had a very big drop since the moment the agreement between it and Embraer was announced, however this drop was not related to the agreement, it was derived from failures of Boeing itself that launched the 737 MAX aircraft (a model of commercial aircraft) on January 29, 2016, and received the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) certificate on March 8, 2017 and placed the first aircraft and service on May 22, 2017, but on October 29, 2018 a Boeing 737 MAX crashed 13 minutes after takeoff in Indonesia, and in less than a year, another plane of the same model crashed in Ethiopia. Conducting investigations about the aircraft, it was proven through documents that company employees knew about the problems that the aircraft had even before its launch, this caused the death of 346 people joining the victims of Ethiopia and Indonesia, after these events the company entered the worst crisis in its history.

The contents studied will be put into practice, they are: General Accounting, Management of Labor Liabilities, Quantitative Methods Applied to Business, Applied Statistics and Corporate Finance. In order to carry out this work, a fictitious company was chosen, most of the information and numbers contained therein do not correspond to a real company, together we decided to name the company as "VILPN" being it in the cosmetics business.
