    In Brazil, national companies took a long time to internalize the concept of sustainable development. Research on sustainable development was boosted, in Brazil only in the 1990s, as a result of the evolution of the discussion and concern with the preservation of the environment and with the social and economic conditions of society.

    The company Betti Autopeças has as an environmental sustainability project the reuse of cardboard, receiving parts in cardboard boxes and sending them directly to customers, without the need to buy new boxes for shipping.
