Through the study unit Management of Labor Liabilities, taught by the Professor Siqueira we understand what a Labor Liability is and how to identify it in the company, then we calculate these Liabilities with the help of the Teachers Mariângela from the study unit Quantitative Methods and Professor Renata, who helped us in the assembly of graphs for a better visualization of the impact that they were causing in the Company. After we understand what this matter was about so recurrent in companies and calculate the same, then we start to think about the What to do to avoid major damage to Measure Right. With the instruction of our Professor Doval, responsible for the General Accounting Unit, we were able to a comparison of Balance Sheet and DRE before and after Labor Liabilities happen, and see how harmful it was and how it influenced the Company's profit. In this work we will analyze the impact that Labor Liabilities generated by management and control failures, has within the operation of the company, focusing on its accounting and finance part. We will start by explaining what these liabilities are and how they work, how were generated within the company, and their solutions obtained by the company in agreement with the employees involved. After a research carried out on the internet, which investigated what were the companies with higher labor debt, Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. was chosen, more known as Petrobras, an institution which occupies the second place in the ranking, behind Caixa Econômica Federal only. This organization was chosen in view of the great space it gained in news, magazines and newspapers after being initiated by the Police of Brazil, the Lava Jato operation, showing the set of investigations aiming to investigate a money laundering scheme that moved billions of reais in bribe. From the definition of the concept that we worked with Prof. Marcelo Ferreira Siqueira, we were able to define, develop and solve the liabilities of vacation, overtime and night shift at Soufer Industrial LTDA. In the course taught by Prof. Mariangela Martimbianco Santos, we were able to perform the calculations based on the Selic rate for the period described in order to obtain their individual and total value. Regarding the discipline of Prof. Renata Marcondes, we developed a quantitative calculation of the influence of liabilities within the company.
