According to estimates by the United Nations Food Organization
and Agriculture (FAO), Brazil is set to become the world's largest food producer in terms of
2025 and recent numbers are proving it.
Agribusiness in Brazil contributes almost 25% of GDP, only grains
produced here, feed about 1.2 billion people worldwide, according to the
Embrapa. The sector still performs 40% of national exports.
In summary, it is easy to say that a quarter of all the wealth produced in the country and
almost half of Brazilian exports to the world are leaving the hands of
Brazilian rural producers.
