    Culture and art are creative and reflective expressions of the human condition, and almost naturally, they always challenge the norms and cultural conventions pre-established in society. Through them, artists express their questions, provoke and even subvert the structures of power and authority. Thus, this intrinsic capacity of art to challenge the status quo is what makes it vulnerable to censorship and repression by those who feel threatened by its questions.
