    Anxiety is a disorder that has emotional characteristics, such as feelings of tension, worry and physiological changes. It is part of the group of mental pathologies that make the individual feel incapable of living with the environment in which he is inserted. Aromatherapy aims to achieve the physical and emotional health of the individual, treating it from the inside to the outside. In this therapy, essential oils from plants are used and they bring improvements to individual well-being. The objective of the present work is to demonstrate and inform the benefits of aromatherapy, and the way in which it can alleviate the symptoms of anxiety.

    Inventário de flora do Campus da Mantiqueira - UNIFEOB

    About biodiversity is essential for several scientific, educational and governmental areas. In order to know the plant composition, floristic inventories must be carried out, thus allowing the construction of banks and providing information on the flora of a given area (Lima 2009). Such information can be used in ecological, taxonomic, geographic studies and for recovery of degraded areas (Souza, 2009). When carrying out a survey of the flora of the UNIFEOB campus, a guided interpretive trail can be implemented through the floristic study of the area. The tree contains some examples of native and exotic species found on the Mantiqueira campus.

    Criaturas fantásticas e onde habitam: cladograma de flora e fauna e trilha sensorial

    Cladograms were developed with data from a partial survey of the fauna and flora of the Campus Unifeob, the information of each species, genus or family of living beings analyzed was placed in a hierarchical and evolutionary order in order to build it. The data used were collected and transcribed by the fauna and flora groups of the students of the 5th Biological Sciences module - Unifeob, a course located on the Mantiqueira Campus. a place with a scenario rich in biodiversity, we were able to identify the presence of similar characters between the species, which were recorded in the cladograms.

    Projeto de bioprospecção e desenvolvimento sustentável - defensivos naturais - cultivo da planta Nim para uso na cultura de café

    Studies carried out by federal and governmental institutions linked to agriculture have already proven the effectiveness of Neem oil and cake in the prevention of diseases and pests in the coffee crop (borer, leaf miner, red spider mite). However, its use in practice is little encouraged and restricted to very few cases in our region, limited to those farmers who already use organic practices. The traditional trade of agricultural products in the cities of the region does not sell Nim oil, which is advertised on the websites of larger companies of agricultural products. The conclusions of the bibliographical review on the use of Nim products, led to the decision to choose a risk-assessed business plan, with low investment to meet the needs of a medium-sized coffee farm, aiming to initiate alternative practices with the use of natural defensives and at the same time invest in planting Nim, in the future in its processing for its own use.

    The objective of this work was to investigate the fauna present on the Campus of the Centro Universitário Octávio Bastos, located in São João da Boa Vista, where the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest biomes intersect. From the observed species, we developed the course of an ecological trail, with the aim of enabling greater contact between man and nature, transmitting geographic, historical, cultural and ecological knowledge, sensitizing the participants to the contact with the natural reality, reiterating it them the importance of environmental preservation, and the dynamic balance of relationships between living beings and the benefits of preserving them (TABANEZ et al, 1997).
