Therefore, a research was developed to analyze the customs of a specific niche of people in order to expose how a deficient lifestyle can influence the onset of heart disease. For the study, young people between 18 and 25 years old were chosen because, despite not being the age group with the highest incidence of heart disease, it is the period in which changes in habits can prevent the later appearance of such diseases. In total, 98 answers were obtained for questions such as: history of people with heart attacks or who have suffered a heart attack in the family, practice physical exercises, food, use of cigarettes and alcohol. The results were: 45.9% have a history of cardiac or heart attacks in the family; 75.5% eat an average diet; 49% do exercises sometimes and 45.9% do not use alcohol or cigarette.
