    The IGP-M is the Brazilian Inflation Index responsible for calculating price movements in the economy. Its objective is to monitor the evolution of the value of the Brazilian currency and price variations, thus measuring the level of inflation in the country. This measure ranges from agricultural and industrial raw materials to finished products and services. This index is used as a reference for price adjustments such as electricity and rent. In addition to other services needed by the population.
