    Indebtedness and working capital. Good control of the company's working capital is key to good financial health! If we could compare a company to an organ of the human body, we could to suggest that financial management is the heart: it provides supplies for all other areas. If it stops working, everything else stops too. Often, when we perform inefficient management and inadequate financial planning, we end up “appealing” to banks to cover debts, through access to credit and financing. However, when using this strategy in emergency situation, we are vulnerable to banks with totally unfavorable trading.

Our group chose Natura Cosméticos S.A. for being a publicly traded company in the consumer goods sector and also for being the largest Brazilian multinational cosmetics company with a profit of R $ 381.7 million in 2018.

    This semester's IP title is indebtedness and working capital where we will do more in-depth analysis, analyze the balance sheet of a certain chosen company (CVC), make sure that we acquire more information and details from this nationally known company that if it weren't for the work and for the course we would not have the knowledge or the curiosity to go after research and understand what each item means. With PI we will explore your finances to find out if your working capital is positive or negative to find out about its history, its origin and how it gradually gained space in the Brazilian market.

    The purpose of this integrated project is to examine the individual financial statements of Positivo Tecnologia SA (“Company”), identified as the parent, respectively, which comprise the balance sheet as of December 31, 2018 and the related statements of income, comprehensive income, changes in shareholders' equity and cash flows for the year ended. We will find that working capital in an enterprise is based on the current assets and liabilities accounts that manage its operating activities while maintaining stable cash flow, which occurs when there is proper management of the acquired capital.
