    A sustainable company is not just one that preserves the environment, and yes, the one that, in addition, is concerned with the quality of life and with the society development. With this in mind, this work aims to present the ethical and sustainable principles of the Centro Universitário Fundação de Teaching Octávio Bastos in its relationships with its employees, service providers, services, students, customers, partners, the environment and society as a whole. It will also be presented as the city where the company is located develops sustainably.

    In this academic work developed during the 2nd Module of Accounting Sciences, we emphasize the importance of an institution to enhance projects for ecological advancement, thus building a sustainable platform between the organization and the social body. In reference to Human Behavior in Organizations, we aim to recognize the importance of organizational reciprocity along with environmental evolution. Consequently forming a favorable environment, where employees feel satisfaction and well-being in being part of the corporation.

    Much has been discussed about Sustainability, it is a very current subject and present in our daily lives, so this project will present the concept of it, and how the theme is inserted in the organizational environment. To start first, we must know a little more about Sustainability, the concept was first used in 1987 by the Norwegian minister Gro Bundtland. According to her, “sustainable development means being able to meet current demands without this jeopardizing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”

    This work was prepared by students of the second module of the accounting sciences course at UNIFEOB, with sustainability as its theme, in which research was carried out at the company Contábil Baesso, in order to analyze sustainable practices in the business field, in the environment in that the company is inserted, what is the consequence of this for society, and how a company is able to unite both its economic development and the development of society as a whole, contributing to social development inside and outside the company and for the environmental development. Through this work, it is possible to notice how business actions can directly interfere through sustainable practices in the development of society, and how these actions can lead to a future with a better and more sustainable society and with more resources for its development

    The objective of our integrated project is to analyze the sustainability of a company, and to show this through research that we will carry out within the company to understand its social and environmental activities, human behavior, and we will also analyze the society around it in general. The company chosen for the job was USK Callan Method, in which its main activity is teaching English.
