    This booklet was developed from an integrated project present in the curriculum of the "Psycho-Socio-Cultural Aspects" module of the Psychology course at the Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos (UNIFEOB), which seeks to guide and support for veteran students of the Psychology course at the same institution. With this, we will address issues related to the performance of the hospital psychologist, the challenges that permeate this field and, also,suggestions that contribute to students who may work within this scope in the future.
