It was concluded through interviews that there is a need for training for professional caregivers who work there. The results showed challenges and uncertainties with care and the need for investments in psychoeducational and occupational workshops. Furthermore, a questionnaire intended for caregivers was used as a data collection instrument at a focal level, accompanied by a thematic analysis. There was also a visit by some of the collaborators of this project to the Casa Branca IR, which helped the group understand the subject.Item Importância da capacitação dos colaboradores nas residências inclusivas(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2021-11-30) ROSSI, Cintia de Lima; CRIVELARO, Lisânea Fernanda Francisco; BIZAIA, Lívia Milena Feltrin; RIBEIRO, Luís Felipe Batista; PEREIRA, Milena Carolina; OLIVEIRA, Monnike Victoria Souza de; OLIVEIRA, Letícia Dal Picollo Dal Secco deInclusive Residences (RI), according to the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger, are institutional reception units, within the scope of the SUAS' highly complex special social protection, targeting young people and adults with disabilities who do not have conditions for self-sustainability or family support . Within the IR there are several residents, with disabilities and different degrees of dependence, and caregivers are primarily responsible for encouraging and training independence, therefore, we must highlight the importance of good training of the capacity of employees who work with patients, so that they learn to meet everyone's needs according to each individuality. With a bibliographical research, widely discussed among the collaborators of the work, we sought a broad and enlightening understanding of the context of obesity and, also, on how to help the population inserted in this context according to their needs. It involves biological, historical, socioeconomic, psychosocial and cultural factors. Thus, the objective is to address the multifactorial nature of obesity, involving some employees of the Hospital Santa Casa Carolina Malheiros, in the city of São João da Boa Vista, in the State of São Paulo. Through their testimonials in the behavioral workshop, the problems of obesity in the hospital work environment will be addressed and a survey on a wide variety of factors that encompass obesity and studies from the main databases, specialized libraries and specific study units. After quantitative and qualitative analysis of all the information and analysis of data from the medical records of the employees and data decoding, and with the help of Gestalt therapy, psychoeducational awareness actions will be proposed, which enable the individual to prevent and combat obesity. Especially in relation to obesity, its prevalence was verified, associated with the lack of physical activity and healthy eating, which is why it should be an object of concern for hospital institutions, considering that, in these work environments, the effects are more drastic due to the dynamic established in the place. Data were collected on the variables present in obesity in the hospital environment, especially after the Covid 19 pandemic.
