    Obesity is increasingly present in our lives, according to data from the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), in recent years it has increased by almost 20% and became considered an epidemic. Due to these facts, the present study aims to bring information to the employees of the Santa Casa de Misericórdia “Dona Carolina Malheiros”, located in the city of São João da Boa Vista-SP, about the consequences of obesity on the physical and psychological health of the individual. This research project aims to make the body of employees allowing a change in life habits and preventing the perpetuation of obesity through Behavioral Workshops.
