The psychologist is configured as a newly inserted professional in the area of social assistance, however, essential in the multidisciplinary team present in fields of assistance. For this, an interview was conducted with a psychologist specialized in neuropsychological studies and also a literature review. So that it would expose the positive and negative points of this area, with the intention that it would be recognized and more sought after by new psychologists, especially newly graduated ones. When conducting interviews with professionals from both areas, so that the issues were understood and could be passed on clearly and sincerely, to arouse the interest of the target audience, it was concluded that despite the great difficulties encountered during the trajectory, the results and support passed on to society are very rewarding and, above all, of great value to society. Regarding the means of search, the following points were discussed: contemporary clinical psychology, psychological well-being and the pandemic. There were also three interviews with professionals in the area who highlight the points discussed. The adversities aim to present the situation of the newly formed when entering this area, since the poor remuneration at the beginning of the profession becomes a negative factor, bringing dissatisfaction to it. The problems faced by clinical psychologists in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic scenario were also addressed, as there was a significant increase in psychological disorders, affecting a large part of the population, causing the professional to modify his work environment when performing consultations. via online. Bring information about the necessary competence to be a traffic psychologist and what it represents, what are the approaches and who they refer to; Show different types of traffic offenders, with groups that are identified as, for example, offender, non-offender and those involved in the accident, that the possibilities of other means of influence that indicate each personality to each driver; Highlight the relevance of psychological assessment for driver qualification.
