    In our case we have a water tank that is on a slab, and both are on beams. So, based on this information, we will add the weights (water, slab and beams) and thus we will have the total, which will be divided over each beam that is receiving this load.

    This work presents the forces of our object. The objective is to study the determinations of efforts, tensions and deformations. Through a quantitative method. Therefore, it is concluded that the chosen object has a plastic deformation and with the application of force this will be modified. But it will not return to its initial state, remaining deformed. And if a strong force is applied, there may be rupture.

    The Hercílio Luz Bridge is one of the most iconic tourist attractions in Florianópolis and also one of the largest suspension bridges in the world. Located in the central region of the city, the bridge connects the Island of Santa Catarina to the mainland. Built in 1926, the bridge was closed to vehicle traffic in 1982, due to its structure having deteriorated over time. In this work, a bridge model was designed with ice cream sticks, based on models previously reported in the literature. After completion of this prototype, the bridge will be mechanically evaluated by compression testing, aiming to achieve project specifications, supporting the previously established load.

    The object developed in the last quarter was a suspended wooden planter, intended for the academic environment. Its use was intended for the agronomy course, enabling the cultivation of small plants in a practical way, and enabling its installation close to classrooms. It can also be used in gastronomy courses, with the cultivation of seasonings and even in kindergarten and elementary schools, where vegetable gardens have gained space in pedagogical development.
