    Many vulnerable elderly people are abandoned by their family members, living in precarious situations or institutions, without any type of physical or psychological stimulation, leaving them isolated from the rest of society. Thus, the aim of this work was to research and address this topic in different contexts, bringing the importance and visibility of addressing this issue mainly in long-term care institutions to guide and inform them regarding issues involving old people; covering the knowledge of university psychology students, bringing prior knowledge about their future cases acting as psychologists; raising awareness among families regarding old age and its processes.

    This work sought to present the role played by the Organizational and Work Psychologist (POT), exposing the relationship between mental health of employees and productivity within companies. The project also reveals the challenges faced by these professionals and the importance of the Code of Professional Ethics for the Psychologist, where an extensionist segment was built that can serve as support for psychology students and people interested in the sector.
