    Soy is a grain of Chinese origin, believed to have emerged more than 5000 years ago, in Brazil it appeared in mid-1882 in the Bahia region, due to its adaptability in different climates and regions, in addition to its diversity of use, such as: food for humans, consumed fresh, in the form of paste, dough, flour, oil or even milk. Soy has been gaining strength in the Agro sector and today it is the main source of income for many producers, in addition to its extreme importance in the export sector, as well as in the country's economy, which is why it was nicknamed Brazil's gold. Today it is produced in almost the entire Brazilian territory, occupying an area of around 36.8 million hectares, highlighting the state of Mato Grosso, today considered the main state in soybean production in the country, producing an average of 39,961.1 million tons, according to a survey carried out by CONAB (national supply company).
