    Gestão de Oportunidade e Certificação
(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2017-06-30) Simões, Letícia Aparecida; Silva, Raquel Maria; Votick, Sérgio Dias
This article aims to reflect on the growth of the market of organic chickens in Brazil. The chicken business has been an expanding activity due to its quest to consume quality products that guarantee a healthy life. For this production to be of quality it is necessary to follow the legislation and obtain the seal that allows the commercialization of the products inside and outside the country. To obtain the seal, the properties are monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply so that it can be within the standards established by the certifiers who provide the seal so that the products can be marketed. Currently the portion of the population that consumes organic products has a better level of economic conditions than the great majority of the population, but there is a great acceptance by the products and market to expand it. It is important to emphasize that there is a great concern in reducing the expenses with the production so that they become accessible to the population in general, guaranteeing the consumption of healthy products, that do not harm the environment.
