Clinical psychology is one of the approaches in which the psychologist can act. Starting from the historical context of its emergence, we saw that the term emerged in Ancient Greece, the beginnings of psychology took place in philosophy, with very important figures contributing to its evolution. From its emergence to its consolidation, it was a long journey, with countless currents of thought that over time were being questioned, which favored its development. His arrival in Brazil initially took place through medical schools, which focused on the study of physiology and neurology, which later led to questions that the problems of the body were related to the mind, in this way psychology was gaining more and more more space in academia. The practice itself consists of approaches, which must be chosen by professionals as soon as they finish college, it is essential to direct the way the professional will work. We were able to analyze some challenges that the psychologist faces throughout the profession, the choice of approach being one of them, but also career consolidation, aspects of the physical space for care, the amount to be charged and ethical behavior. With the covid-19 pandemic, new challenges emerged - patients had to end the therapeutic process, some professionals had to migrate to online platforms, and also the difficulty of support from Organs competent bodies to direct this practice of remote assistance.

Nomophobia is the irrational fear of being without a cell phone or any type of electronic device, with that, nomophobia is increasingly present in our lives. After all, most of us always want to know what's going on in the ''timeline'' of facebook or the ''Instagram'' feed. But nomophobia happens when there is misuse of this technology, which has become so important in human life. human today. Since, we use cell phones, computers, tablets for everything, even for work, entertainment and many times, some parents even use them to entertain the children in some moments of occupation. The time that these children and adolescents remain connected to the internet and networks is increasing, compromising the performance of other social and family activities. This time that is too connected, encourages a sedentary lifestyle, causing health and psychological problems due to social isolation. In childhood, excessive exposure to screens impairs the stimuli necessary for development and increases the risk of brain deficits. The rapid accessibility to these "moments of pleasure" can lead to repetition and consequent dependence on the use of electronic devices. In addition to problems such as difficulty sleeping, lack of sociability and aggressiveness, exposure to content that children are not emotionally mature to deal with, the use of these devices can lead to psychological disorders such as anxiety, bulimia, anorexia and depression. These disorders may be associated with suicidal ideation and attempts, in addition to self-aggressive behavior such as cutting oneself, pulling one's hair, biting one's nails to the point of causing injuries.
