Put through a detailed analysis of regional economic indicators, the project will seek understand the factors that influence employment opportunities for the city’s youth which will be described in the first two topics: Brazilian Regional Economy and Growth and Economic Development. This project also addresses the importance of administrative contracts, exemplifying with a contract aimed at the construction of an Educational Center Children (CEI). The analysis of administrative contracts is fundamental, as they represent adjustments signed between the Public Administration and individuals, aiming to meet the interests public. Administrative contracts have specific characteristics, such as formality and the need for bidding. In the context of the bidding, price formation will be explored, using the concept markup.Rice will be chosen as an example to illustrate this process. The formation of pricing in the context of bidding is crucial to ensure that the proposals presented are viable and competitive, reflecting the real costs involved in executing the contract. Like this, the project not only examines regional economic indicators, but also relates these data to bidding practices and public management, contributing to an understanding broader view of the economic dynamics that affect the youth labor market in São Carlos.
