(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) VALDAMBRINI, Ana Luiza Inácio; GIÃO, Estela Carolina Bargas; MONTOURO, Fernanda Braganhole; CUNHA, Gabriela Nogueira; SANTOS, Heloísa dos; FRANCISCO, Valdenise S.; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar dos; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo de; SANTOS, Odair José dos
The objective of this study is to describe the congenital changes in family history with several causes, teratogenic factors that cause malformations, which can be classified into three categories: chemical agents (licit and illicit drugs, drugs and chemical substances), agents (infections) and physical agents (ionizing radiation and temperature). In cases of malformed newborns, more than half could be avoided by applying primary prevention measures. For this, it would be necessary to know the frequency of each specific defect to evaluate the impact of a prevention measure and to know the possible causes involved in the specific congenital defects. In several countries around the world, including Brazil, public health programs related to the preventive actions of congenital malformations are related to the fortification of grains and farinaceous with folic acid to reduce the primary occurrence. Such changes in Brazil were recommendations suggested by the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, in order to reduce the risk of pathologies that compromise the central nervous system (CNS). The objective of this article was to investigate the existence of a relationship between the type of congenital malformation and the neonatal variables (birth weight, gender and gestational age) and maternal variables (gestational drug use, number of prenatal visits, age, income family, education level and number of children).

A healthy heart presents its aspects of normality (has its ideal functioning). The cardiovascular system is classified as a closed, complete, and dual system. Cardiovascular diseases represent the main cause of mortality and disability in Brazil and worldwide. A heart attack is a process of tissue death in part of the heart muscle due to lack of oxygen, due to obstruction of a coronary artery. Some causes of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) are: high blood pressure, smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes, sedentary lifestyle, family history, etc. Its main symptoms are: shortness of breath, tiredness, pallor, heart palpitations, shoulder/arm/back pain, dizziness, cold sweat, abdominal pain, sleeping difficulties and nausea/vomiting.

According to surveys carried out, the work is being developed from the confirmation of Acute Myocardial Infarction – AMI to the patient Pedro. From examinations carried out on the patient, it is possible to observe a family of proteins found in skeletal and cardiac muscle fibers, the Troponins, which are biomarkers in the case of suspected AMI due to their cardiac specificity, the increase in preload and the decrease in diastolic perfusion time facilitates the degradation of troponin I, which may be related to the ischemia of the innermost layers of the myocardial wall. Next, Creatine Kinase is observed. The CK enzyme is found in the greatest amount in cardiac muscle and exists in the form of dimers. Its concentration can be altered by several factors, such as the use of illicit drugs, acute or chronic muscle injury and the use of some medications. It is recommended to perform collections every 3 hours to confirm or not the case of AMI. And finally, myoglobin is a protein and biomarker providing the necessary oxygen for muscle contraction and normally myoglobin is not present in the bloodstream and is only released when there is some muscle injury.

The consumption of fast food has been gradually increasing in a contemporary society, where speed has been dominating, and the habit of eating processed foods is increasingly common. Due to globalization and its technologies, most people have been adopting a very caloric eating habit, rich in fats, carbohydrates and salt and without any nutritional value, due to the extremely modern way of life and without long intervals of time. As a result, countries like Japan, the United States of America, Australia, Brazil, among others, have a high rate of cardiovascular diseases, caused by obesity, diabetes, hypertension (due to excessive consumption of salts), and especially bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood. Modernity, without a doubt, has created several factors, from the lack of time, as well as the ease that makes up our need to ingest food for the maintenance of our body. However, this need must be met with foods that will benefit every anatomical part of our body.

The subject of this study has a direct impact on daily life because an unbalanced lifestyle such as poor diet, physical inactivity and shortage of rest directly affects the health of the individual, however many still do not understand the importance of having healthy habits and end up with several diseases. Therefore, a research was developed to analyze the customs of a specific niche of people in order to expose how a deficient lifestyle can influence the onset of heart disease. For the study, young people between 18 and 25 years old were chosen because, despite not being the age group with the highest incidence of heart disease, it is the period in which changes in habits can prevent the later appearance of such diseases. In total, 98 answers were obtained for questions such as: history of people with heart attacks or who have suffered a heart attack in the family, practice physical exercises, food, use of cigarettes and alcohol. The results were: 45.9% have a history of cardiac or heart attacks in the family; 75.5% eat an average diet; 49% do exercises sometimes and 45.9% do not use alcohol or cigarette.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI), also called coronary syndrome, is a leading cause of death in the world and is a result of vessel obstruction and lack of oxygen in cardiac muscle cells. The latter, in turn, release cardiac markers into the bloodstream once necrotic cell death occurs, and these macromolecules are the determinants of clinical pictures. Enzymes and proteins myoglobin, troponins and CK-MB., Correspond to the main markers that can be detected during and after myocyte lesion.

The sharp myocardium heart attack happens because of the obstruction of some artery, which leads to the necrosis in part of the cardiac muscle for ischemia. This happens mostly in overweight people, hypertensives, sedentary, smokers, stressed, diabetics, and with high cholesterol. These reasons overtake the importance to have health habits like practice exercise and have a balanced diet. Even though that is the one of the biggest reason of death in the world, there is treatments and substances around the body that can be liberated in the instance that the begin of the heart attack appears; and when diagnosed, it can prevent to be worst or lead the patient to death. This markers are: Creatine Kinase (CK-T), Creatine Kinase-MB (CKMB), troponin, myoglobin and Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST).

Fast food appeared in the United States in 1916 and since then it has been the most sought-after form of food by the world's population, both due to its fast production time and its low cost. However, what most people ignore is the low quality of nutrients and fiber that these foods offer. In addition, most of these foods are high in sodium, saturated fatty acids, trans fats and cholesterol. Researchers at the School of Public Health at the University of George Washington, USA, conducted a study between 2003 and 2010 and reported that their packaging contains harmful chemicals, such as phthalates, which still have little known effects on the human body (Environmental Health Perspectives). The great consequence of this type of diet is found in the diseases it can cause, some of which are: hypertension, acute myocardial infarction, obesity and diabetes. As a result of these, some reactions in the formation of toxic compounds presented are: degradation of lipids, hydrogenation, trans fats, sodium, pyrolysis, smoking. With the advancement of medicine and laboratory tests, some markers are used to identify an Acute Myocardial Infarction much more quickly. CK, LDH, troponin and myoglobin tests are important allies in this investigation, where they have direct links with our cardiovascular system. In addition to these highly harmful compounds to our health found in food, packaging has the presence of phthalates that cause consequences for the liver, kidneys and lungs.

Congenital cardiac malformation are problems or abnormalities in the functions or structures of the heart, they appear in the period of 3 weeks of gestation when the formation of the heart begins. When the examination is carried out in the initial phase of the newborn's life, the chances of discovering a cardiac malformation are high, but when special attention is not given, the discovery only becomes possible in the adult phase, when it is often already too late. Such malformations can evolve from just one complication, which can be treated throughout life to a high mortality rate.

The Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) is responsible for being one of the public health problems in Brazil and in the World. Cardiac markers are used to detect myocardial diseases, such as AMI. They invade the bloodstream, resulting in an increase in their levels. They are: myoglobin, creatine kinase, troponins, among others. Measurements of blood levels of cardiac markers are dependent on the time elapsed between the onset of symptoms and sample collection. The markers must have high sensitivity in order to detect the presence of cardiac injury, in addition to their rapid release at detectable levels. The objective is to present the markers, the role they play and their levels, together with the laboratory techniques used.
