The present work aimed to present the importance of discussing the topic of nomophobia in the classroom, emphasizing the age group of children from 06 to 11 years old (initial years). The increase in work is justified by the scarcity of studies on the subject in this specific age group and by the increased use perceived by education professionals with these students. A bibliographic review and an opinion survey were carried out, a product was also developed to present the problem in the focus group. This included the participation of all members in its composition, consisting of a concept presentation theme and reinforcement and fixation activities with a playful character, appropriate to the target audience.

Hello, are we going to learn about nomophobia today? Have you ever heard that word? Let's start at the end: normally, when a word ends with “'phobia”, it means the fear or aversion towards the first part of that same word. OK. In fact, it is an abbreviation for an English expression that means “no cell phone”. Now it's clearer: nomophobia is the fear of being without a cell phone.
