    The year 2022 should not be one of significant investments in planted area of orange. In addition to concerns about the weather, the low productivity of the season 2021/2022 has restricted the income of many citrus growers. Some of them may even join irrigation to mitigate climate risks. As for the 2022/2023 production, initially, good flowering was verified, but there are still concerns about the effects of weather (as some plants have been weakened by the drought, and the possibility of La Niña could delay the regularization of the rains in SP)

    This work aims to demonstrate the daily life of a farm located in Andradas - MG that grows lettuce only with cattle manure without pesticides only for family consumption. But he points out that there are some deficiencies related to nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and calcium that cause damage to the plantation. However, they provide alternatives for a possible solution to the problem. We also recommend carrying out a soil analysis to adjust fertilization and liming recommendations. In order to overcome the deficiencies found and increase productivity, we recommend, based on bulletin 100, to apply 100 grams per m2 of bed of NPK 10-10-10 fertilizer.

    To develop our project, we carried out a technical visit at Fazenda Santa Cruz, located in the city of Andradas-MG, in the micro-region of Poços de Caldas. The region is characterized by being a territory that is 100% Atlantic Forest biome. The property has a total area of 110 hectares, and its main crop is coffee, with a planted area of 43 hectares. The property still contains corn production for silage with 13 hectares (currently leased) and another part for the production of corn for grain on 10 hectares (currently leased). For pasture, today we find 45 hectares on the property. The farm does not have a high technological level, citing an important fact which is the use of photovoltaic energy. The property does not have any strategic planning and controls management in a very outdated way. With the influence of the volcanic soil, the climate is characterized by being tropical at altitude.

    A Fazenda-Escola do Centro Universitário UNIFEOB, é um campus universitário dedicado para estudo, pesquisa e desenvolvimento de técnicas e tecnologias voltadas ao agronegócio. Sua estrutura é completa com 150 hectares, de fácil acesso dentro da zona urbana de São João da Boa Vista – SP, além de contar com salas de aula, auditórios, estufa de 100 m² totalmente automatizada, 58 ha de campos de pastagem com cabeças de gado, contêiner de produção de alimentos com destino animal, área irrigada de 10 hectares com pivô central, totalmente cercada, e lavouras de sequeiro.

    A propriedade Fazenda Santa Clara localiza-se na cidade de Andradas MG. Sua principal atividade é o cultivo de café O cafeeiro (Coffea sp.) é um arbusto pertencente à família Rubiaceae, gênero Coffea, no qual já se encontram descritas mais de 90 espécies. Destas, cerca de 25 são exploradas comercialmente, sendo que apenas quatro têm importância significativa no mercado mundial: Coffea arabica, conhecido como café arábica; Coffea canephora, conhecido como café robusta, e em menor volume: Coffea liberica e Coffea dewevrei, que produzem o café libérica e o café excelsa, respectivamente.
