The objective of this project was to carry out a survey and diagnosis on an agricultural production property and report its management practices, as well as suggest appropriate management practices. With these objectives in mind, we visited the Fazenda Velocita agricultural property, located on highway SP 342, Km 187, Nova Louzan, in the municipality of Mogi Guaçu.

This Integrator Project at first suggested a hypothetical situation that we had acquired an agricultural property in Rio Verde (GO) and that we decided to start a crop of the bean legume in this property Therefore, we consider it relevant to start this work contextualizing the municipality of Rio Verde, in Goiás, 420 km from Brasília. River Verde has an altitude of 748m above the sea, and a slightly undulating topography, with 5% slope. The Köppen and Geiger climate classification, the climate is Aw, i.e. a tropical climate, which is divided into two seasons: dry, occurring between April and October, and the rainy season, occurring from November to April. The annual monthly temperature is in the range of 23.4°C and the average annual rainfall is 1493mm. About its soil, it is of the latosol type dark red with clayey and sandy-clay textures and also different silt and porosity distribution profiles (CITY HALL OF RIO VERDE, 2009; 2019).

In this project, the theory about the bean legume was developed as mentioned previously in relation to the hypothetical situation that was suggested to us. In this way, we perform the survey of bean sowing parameters. Regarding the parameters, start with line spacing, the standardized measurement of 0.50m is generally used; The depth in clayey areas is determined between 3 to 4 cm and in sandy areas 5 to 6 cm; the final population generally settles at 240,000 plants per hectare, with some cultivars being exceptions. The seeding density, initial stand and final stand are related to the desired final population, which may vary according to the size of the area, possible emergence of weeds and pests, among others. In Annex 1, it can be seen tables with some cultivars of carioca, black and other types of commercial groups, with sowing data and parameters, as well as information regarding resistance and productivity numbers (SILVA, 2021).

A propriedade tem uma área total de 1.680 hectares. Latossolo com textura média. Atividade agrícola: Citricultura (1.106 ha); Cafeicultura (139,87 ha). Funcionários: 403 registrados de acordo com o regime CLT. Maquinários: 50. Irrigação: gotejamento. Recipientes de defensivos químicos: logística reversa (Lei 12.305/2010). Cadastro Ambiental Rural (CAR): Reserva Legal Exigida: 20% da área (254,4 hectares). Passivo de Reserva Legal: 136 hectares a serem recompostos para conformidade. Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APPs): Total de 85,8 hectares incluindo 58,1 hectares de vegetação nativa. Proteção de cursos d'água e nascentes em conformidade com a legislação.

A Fazenda Escola UNIFEOB, localiza-se em São João da Boa Vista SP. Possui 150 hectares. Braquiaria Ruziziense (28ha)/Panicum Quenia (30ha), Pasto, Depósito destinado à coleta de reservatório da propriedade, Presença de ervas daninhas, Infestação de carrapatos nos animais; falta de água limpa, para o consumo dos animais e infestação de plantas, daninhas no pasto. Produção de queijo, Criação de um espaço confinado para o rebanho para a realização de aulas práticas. Tratamento da água que provém do rio para ser utilizada nos cuidados com o rebanho.

School gardens have a history, mainly within teaching children, and, in recent years, they have gained greater visibility, at least encouraging outdoor classes. In these spaces, children plant, water, sow and consume fresh vegetables and build knowledge related to ecology and vegetable cultivation. The pedagogical use of school gardens has been highlighted, due to the improvement in nutritional status and increased environmental awareness in students.
