Item Achocolatado Vegano(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2022-07-01) FRANDIN, Gabriel dos Santos; BARBON, Leonardo; SANTOS, Odair José dosStudies carried out in several parts of the world have already shown that a plant-based diet helps to reduce the incidence of cancer - by up to 15% and heart problems, a vegan diet brings the simple factor of cutting meat and other animal products. , but the diet can bring benefits. Having also helps in the fight against obesity, since it is rich in fibrous foods, such as whole grains, oilseeds and legumes, which increase the feeling of satiety and help the functioning of the intestine. It is known that bacteria that are located in the intestine, have direct interference in physical and mental health conditions. Science has been able to prove that the vegan diet alters the gut microbiota, our human gastrointestinal tract, specifically the colon, is densely populated with bacteria, fungi, and viruses. This ecosystem that is part of the human being is called the intestinal microbiota.Item Alterações Congênitas X Histórico Familiar(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) VALDAMBRINI, Ana Luiza Inácio; GIÃO, Estela Carolina Bargas; MONTOURO, Fernanda Braganhole; CUNHA, Gabriela Nogueira; SANTOS, Heloísa dos; FRANCISCO, Valdenise S.; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar dos; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo de; SANTOS, Odair José dosThe objective of this study is to describe the congenital changes in family history with several causes, teratogenic factors that cause malformations, which can be classified into three categories: chemical agents (licit and illicit drugs, drugs and chemical substances), agents (infections) and physical agents (ionizing radiation and temperature). In cases of malformed newborns, more than half could be avoided by applying primary prevention measures. For this, it would be necessary to know the frequency of each specific defect to evaluate the impact of a prevention measure and to know the possible causes involved in the specific congenital defects. In several countries around the world, including Brazil, public health programs related to the preventive actions of congenital malformations are related to the fortification of grains and farinaceous with folic acid to reduce the primary occurrence. Such changes in Brazil were recommendations suggested by the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization, in order to reduce the risk of pathologies that compromise the central nervous system (CNS). The objective of this article was to investigate the existence of a relationship between the type of congenital malformation and the neonatal variables (birth weight, gender and gestational age) and maternal variables (gestational drug use, number of prenatal visits, age, income family, education level and number of children).Item Alterações Congênitas X Histórico Familiar(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2020-06-30) ANDRÉ, Amanda de Oliveira; SIQUEIRA, Ana Elisa Granato; RAGASSI, Beatriz Scoassado; BORGES, Claudia Samara; SILVEIRA, Isadora Cristina Prieto; MACEDO, Larissa Garzo de; MARTINS, Leonardo de Souza; CROCHIQUIA, Roberta Júlia; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar; SANTOS, Odair José dos; ROSSI, Cintia de Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo deArticle referring to the main congenital alterations that are defined as distinct from hereditary diseases, as well as the causes and consequences of the anomalies directed and analyzed in the cardiac question, taking into account the processes of embryological formation and analysis of data related to the research of familiar heart diseases. Pesticides emerged with the need to meet the increased demand for consumption and food input for the entire population. In the present work, a bibliographical review was carried out regarding the benefits that the use of pesticides brought and continues to bring to the environment and the crop.Item Benefícios dos defensores agrícolas(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) BOAS, Carmélia Vilas; FIGUEIREDO, Débora de Oliveira; GIACCHETA, Giulia; GONÇALVES, Izabella de Souza; GUEDES, Jéssica Aparecida; CAETANO, Maria da Graça Rezende; SANTOS, Amilton César; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SANTOS, Odair José dosAgricultural pesticides aim to protect crops from pests and insects, which may end up compromising crop production and food quality. But their use can end up generating a discussion, such as their benefit to the environment. Over the years, efforts have been made to improve its use, resulting in plant extracts and microbial agents, such as nematodes, which are used in pesticides to combat pathogens. This would improve our health, and would have a much lesser impact on the environment, as it is easy to use in the soil and does not leave residues. The use of pesticides can be seen as a "medicine" for plants, but if used in excess it is harmful, they are perceived as an enemy of the environment and also of health, but their use is important for mass production of food, so that the population does not lack, for example, the use of defensives help the food to have a slower decomposition, aiming at its quality for consumption. If used correctly, pesticides can be a great ally to meet all the population's demand and generate great savings for the country.Item Biomarcadores para diagnóstico de infarto agudo do miocárdio(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2020-06-30) SALES, José Augusto Fontão; BONIFÁCIO, Adrielli Cristina; MORAIS, Bruna Pereira; RODRIGUES, Giovanna Campos; WENDT, Guilherme Rafael; ACETI, Rafael; CARVALHO, Uynne Melo; NICOLAU, Larissa Fernanda Correia; SANTOS, Odair José dos; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar; ROSSI, Cintia de Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo deAccording to surveys carried out, the work is being developed from the confirmation of Acute Myocardial Infarction – AMI to the patient Pedro. From examinations carried out on the patient, it is possible to observe a family of proteins found in skeletal and cardiac muscle fibers, the Troponins, which are biomarkers in the case of suspected AMI due to their cardiac specificity, the increase in preload and the decrease in diastolic perfusion time facilitates the degradation of troponin I, which may be related to the ischemia of the innermost layers of the myocardial wall. Next, Creatine Kinase is observed. The CK enzyme is found in the greatest amount in cardiac muscle and exists in the form of dimers. Its concentration can be altered by several factors, such as the use of illicit drugs, acute or chronic muscle injury and the use of some medications. It is recommended to perform collections every 3 hours to confirm or not the case of AMI. And finally, myoglobin is a protein and biomarker providing the necessary oxygen for muscle contraction and normally myoglobin is not present in the bloodstream and is only released when there is some muscle injury.Item Caracterização de Fast Food e consumo desses alimentos por alguns estudantes do Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) RAMOS, Bárbara Alessandra; FIGUEIREDO, Débora de Oliveira; SILVA, Gabriele de Padua; CAETANO, Maria da Graça Rezende; OLIVEIRA, Tainara Bossato de; CARVALHO, Victória Júlia Zanetti de; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar dos; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo de; SANTOS, Odair José dosThe consumption of fast food has been gradually increasing in a contemporary society, where speed has been dominating, and the habit of eating processed foods is increasingly common. Due to globalization and its technologies, most people have been adopting a very caloric eating habit, rich in fats, carbohydrates and salt and without any nutritional value, due to the extremely modern way of life and without long intervals of time. As a result, countries like Japan, the United States of America, Australia, Brazil, among others, have a high rate of cardiovascular diseases, caused by obesity, diabetes, hypertension (due to excessive consumption of salts), and especially bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood. Modernity, without a doubt, has created several factors, from the lack of time, as well as the ease that makes up our need to ingest food for the maintenance of our body. However, this need must be met with foods that will benefit every anatomical part of our body.Item Coleta de sangue venoso para análise laboratorial(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2021-11-30) MARÇOLA, Beatriz de Oliveira; FIGUEIREDO, Carolina Alves; SILVA, Jeferson Carlos da; CAMILO, Nicolle Klocke; COSTA, Michela D’Arki; SABOIA, Vanessa Cristina R.; OLIVEIRA, Adriano dos Santos; ISAAC, Gustavo Elias Arten; CONCEIÇÃO, Rogério Arcuri; SANTOS, Odair José dosThis SOP applies to all academics or Clinical Analysis Technicians who come to collect biological material (blood) in the analysis laboratory of the UNIFEOB teaching institution. Therefore, a research was developed to analyze the customs of a specific niche of people in order to expose how a deficient lifestyle can influence the onset of heart disease. For the study, young people between 18 and 25 years old were chosen because, despite not being the age group with the highest incidence of heart disease, it is the period in which changes in habits can prevent the later appearance of such diseases. In total, 98 answers were obtained for questions such as: history of people with heart attacks or who have suffered a heart attack in the family, practice physical exercises, food, use of cigarettes and alcohol. The results were: 45.9% have a history of cardiac or heart attacks in the family; 75.5% eat an average diet; 49% do exercises sometimes and 45.9% do not use alcohol or cigarette.Item Eixo de métodos alternativos: benefícios a saúde e ao meio ambiente(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) DIAS, Gabriela Snidars; PALOMO, Isabela Cazarini; FRANCO, Letícia Porto Bozeli; CASSIANO, Marília Emily Russo; JACINTO, Natany da Silva; SILVA, Thais Caroline Pereira da; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar; ROSSI, Cintia Lima; SANTOS, Odair José dosPesticides were developed in World War I and widely used in World War II as a chemical weapon. With the end of the war, the product was used and known as pesticide or phytosanitary products. Once used in agricultural systems, pesticides remain in food even after washing. Uncontrolled ingestion of these substances can lead to several diseases, including: Cancer; Paralysis; Neurological problems; Breathing difficulties; Skin irritations; Allergies; Miscarriage and malformation of the fetus, as well as causing numerous damage to the environment. It is for these ills and others still unknown that alternative methods of agricultural production without the use of pesticides are increasingly being sought and developed. Foods produced from this idea have several benefits such as: safer foods and free from chemical contamination that can cause health damage; more nutritious foods that preserve their properties that are not lost in the production process; and more sustainable production with no soil contamination, reduced use of non-renewable energy sources and reduced waste production.Item Estatística em prol da saúde e bem estar(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2020-06-30) SANTOS, Gabriel Maciel dos; DINIZ, Gabriela Serrano; ARAÚJO, Jonas Augusto Fonseca; RONCHI, Maria Eduarda; SILVA, Mirian Camargo; BUSCARIOLLI NETO, Osvaldo; MARTINS, Pedro Tavares; SANTOS, Odair José dos; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar; ROSSI, Cintia de Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo deBased on research carried out with students from the UNIFEOB institution, we were able to obtain different lifestyle results. Through the graphs, we conclude that 50% of the people interviewed were aged between 20 and 30 years old, 52.5% are female, 50% do not practice physical exercises, 55% surf more than 4 hours a day on the internet, 50% suffer a lot of pressure at work due to the duty to meet their goals and challenges and their self-classification is 92.5% white people. Due to this reality, people use as an escape from problems and personal traumas a form of satisfaction by ingesting alcoholic beverages, unhealthy foods (fast foods) or smoking, becoming a priority in their lives, compromising their own health, leading the person to have several diseases, one of them being the Acute Myocardial Infarction, in this way, it isthe role of the prevention campaign is fundamental.Item Exames Laboratoriais(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2019-06-30) RODRIGUES, Isabela Karina; MOURA, Mariana Rodrigues de; JUVENTINO, Maheus Candido; SILVA, Nicolle Klocke Camillo Santos da; ESTEVAM, Yasmin Rayane; SANTOS, Amilton Cesar dos; ROSSI, Cintia de Lima; SOUZA, Carlos Alberto Colozzo de; SANTOS, Odair José dosAcute myocardial infarction (AMI), also called coronary syndrome, is a leading cause of death in the world and is a result of vessel obstruction and lack of oxygen in cardiac muscle cells. The latter, in turn, release cardiac markers into the bloodstream once necrotic cell death occurs, and these macromolecules are the determinants of clinical pictures. Enzymes and proteins myoglobin, troponins and CK-MB., Correspond to the main markers that can be detected during and after myocyte lesion.
