    The globalization of environmental problems is an undeniable fact and companies have been, since their origin, at the center of this process and any effective solution to the problems involves themselves. Within this context, environmental protection standards were created, in particular ISO 14000, whose function is to establish a global mechanism for standardizing methodologies for the implementation of an environmental management system, with a view to improving the relationship between companies and the environment in which it operates.
