    The purpose of this Integrated Project is to analyze the update of the net income and shareholders' equity values ​​of the last years of JBS, using the IGP-M (General Market Price Index). Throughout the chapters will be presented the fundamental accounting concepts, including the analysis of the latest balance sheets disclosed by the company and also the net profit values. Understanding the classification of each account group is very important so that the income statement for the year has its meaning fully understood. Going through the concept of finance, there is the explanation of the index that underlies this project: the IGP-M.
