In the module “Education, Society and Technology” we will study the case of Ana Carla, a teacher entering early childhood education at a municipal school in a city in the interior of Brazil, Miracatu do Norte, whose main income is sugarcane. Soon after passing a public contest, Ana Carla started teaching at the only school for early childhood education in the city. In her classes, she has found it difficult to develop her activities since the amount transferred to the community is low, leaving her with few resources to invest in diversified teaching materials for her classes.
