    Sustainability, in general, seeks a balance between natural resources and the demand for them by society as a whole, balancing the preservation of the environment and what it can offer us, according to the condition of the population's life in relation to everyday life and the future. “​The term sustainability arises from the need for discussion about the way society has been exploring and using natural resources, thinking about alternatives to preserve it, thus preventing these resources from being depleted in nature.” (SOUZA, 2019).
