Item Ocorrência de protozoário e helmintos em Javalis (Sus scrofa scrofa ) criados em cativeiro na cidade de Piedade, São Paulo(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) REIS, Leandra Shirlei dos; SANTOS, Regina Silva dos22 samples of wild boar feces (Sus Scrofa Scrofa) collected directly from the gastrointestinal tract after slaughter were analyzed. The method used to investigate the frequency of occurrence of parasites was fluctuation in zinc sulfate solution. Of the positive samples it was possible to confirm the presence of Eimeria sp (90.90%), helminths such as Trichuris sp (22, 72%) and Strongyloidea eggs (9.09%).
