Faced with the large number of electronic devices and the expansion of the mobile internet, significant changes resulting from this interactivity occur in the lives of individuals, who have their habits, behaviors, customs and relationships transformed by the presence of smart devices. Nomophobia arises as a consequence of the growing wave of technologies available to society. As a general objective, we sought to analyze the propensity to Nomophobia in elementary school students at the Municipal School Joaquim Giraldi in the city of Aguaí, SP. Awareness and dynamic lectures were held to find out the level of dependence of students on electronic devices. Regarding the propensity to Nomophobia, it was demonstrated that the students' level of dependence is high and that even when they are still young, symptoms such as insomnia and stress are already present in their lives.
