According to surveys carried out, the work is being developed from the confirmation of Acute Myocardial Infarction – AMI to the patient Pedro. From examinations carried out on the patient, it is possible to observe a family of proteins found in skeletal and cardiac muscle fibers, the Troponins, which are biomarkers in the case of suspected AMI due to their cardiac specificity, the increase in preload and the decrease in diastolic perfusion time facilitates the degradation of troponin I, which may be related to the ischemia of the innermost layers of the myocardial wall. Next, Creatine Kinase is observed. The CK enzyme is found in the greatest amount in cardiac muscle and exists in the form of dimers. Its concentration can be altered by several factors, such as the use of illicit drugs, acute or chronic muscle injury and the use of some medications. It is recommended to perform collections every 3 hours to confirm or not the case of AMI. And finally, myoglobin is a protein and biomarker providing the necessary oxygen for muscle contraction and normally myoglobin is not present in the bloodstream and is only released when there is some muscle injury.

The impacts of activities in a clinical laboratory affect shareholders, employees, suppliers, consumers and also the community in the region where it is located, which, together, constitute a network of stakeholders. There is a combination of factors indicating that laboratories can no longer be concerned solely with obtaining profit, as their activities are not restricted to the economic sphere, they also generate effects on the environment and society. Sustainability can be applied anywhere, in everyday routine, at work, until it becomes a habit.
