    According to 2019 data from the IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics), obesity affects about 26.8% of the Brazilian population (ABESO, 2020). However, these alarming data are not restricted to Brazil, according to WHO statistics from 2019, they are part of the obesity picture of 2.3 billion people, so this can be characterized as a disease on a global scale (RICARD, 2019).

    This project consists of carrying out a qualitative research, referring to the psychic impacts generated mainly during the pandemic, in the lives of university students present in the first and last year of the nutrition course. Thus, from the “Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale for Adults” (DASS-21), instrument used for data collection, it was possible to significantly identify the presence of these main factors mentioned later.
