In this context, the group decided to focus on an innovative solution for waste management, one of the great challenges of modern society. The central idea was develop a robot that not only facilitates the garbage collection process, but also directly contribute to the creation of a cleaner and more sustainable environment. This project proposes the creation of an autonomous robot, capable of moving and collecting garbage automatically. The technology developed allows the robot to identify, collect and store waste, providing a practical solution for urban and industrial. In addition to optimizing waste collection, this innovation contributes to the preservation environment, helping to reduce pollution and promoting more efficient management of solid waste. As the FIA website states, (2024) “By adopting sustainable practices, we design a more prosperous future, with biodiversity, respect for the environment and wealth shared. [...]”.The development of this robot was possible thanks to the application of a series of knowledge acquired throughout this course, especially in the Robotics disciplines, Machine Learning, Linear Algebra and Analytical Geometry and Differential and Integral Calculus. Each of these areas provided a solid foundation for project advancement, from control from autonomous movements to the creation of code for object detection. That interdisciplinary knowledge was essential for the success of the proposed solution
