Excessive use of cell phones can negatively affect users' lives. One of these impacts that will be discussed and analyzed by the authors of this work, aims to analyze the impacts caused by the excessive use of cell phones in the work environment, mainly in young adults (18 to 24 years old). For this, published research articles were used, found in "Google Academic". Then, opinion polls were carried out using the “Google Forms” tool, in addition to which a timeline was constructed in order to exemplify technological advances over the years. A Zine was developed in a physical newspaper format, which was presented in a school and in a company. The result was as expected, as there was understanding of the participants promoting a great harmony for the explanation during the time available.

Considered a “first world problem”, the term nomophobia implies the fear or anxiety of staying away from the cell phone, causing significant interference in the daily lives of those affected, causing them to use the device many times, at inappropriate times. This term emerged with the increased use of mobile technology, nowadays it is a sacrifice for most people to go a day without being connected. With this feeling of being connected to the world, the person creates a fear of disconnecting from it or losing something they consider important, and can cause anxiety, panic attacks and even physical symptoms such as tremors. Nowadays, with this "disease" of the new world there are treatments, such as therapy and it is recommended that everyone build healthy habits around technology.
