This research will explain the attitudes and skills of the professionals involved in this process, the coach and the young/athlete, how will the development of this coach and this young person respect their process of human and motor development to become a great athlete.Item O impacto do treinamento funcional nas atividades da vida diária dos idosos(Centro Universitário da Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2021-06-02) MARINHO, Carlos Alexandre; REGINI, MarcosIn recent years, we can observe a large increase in the elderly population in the Brazil, thus increasing the life expectancy of this population, and with that the search for a better quality of life through the practice of regular physical exercise. The process of aging causes morphological and physiological changes and, consequently, the decrease functional capacities of the elderly, compromising the neuromuscular system and making it difficult performing activities of daily living. Functional training (TF) has gained prominence and attracted a large number of fans for providing improvement in the neuromuscular system, improving motor coordination, balance, resistance, flexibility, among others physical capabilities. Therefore, this study seeks to analyze, through a review bibliography, the information available in the literature on the subject. The results of the studies suggest that functional training is effective and safe in the lives of the elderly because it provokes adaptive and positive responses to the functionality of the elderly
