- Item Influência da concentração de antígeno na síntese de anticorpos de resposta primária e secundária em animais de laboratório(Fundação de Ensino Octávio Bastos, 2004-09-30) ARAÚJO, Fernando A. de; JORGE NETO, Pedro N.; PITTA, Rodrigo de M.; JORGE, Rômulo da S.; ORIANI, Maria Raquel de Godoy; TURRI, Rosimary de J. G.Study carried out to investigate primary and secondary immune response in mice, using 1%, 2.5% and 4% sheep red blood cell solution as antigen. The animals received two doses of antigens at an interval of one week when bleeding was then performed to obtain serums of primary and secondary immune response. Serum titration was performed using the microhemagglutination technique with and without 2 mercaptoethanol, to verify the concentrations of IgM and IgG. According to the obtained titles, it was concluded that the best concentration of antigens for the induction of antibody synthesis was 2.5%, using the lowest concentration a satisfactory response was not obtained and that of 4% induced the death of several animals.
