    The seizure attack, where there is loss or imbalance of consciousness, altered muscle tone, involuntary urination and defecation, must be differentiated as to its origin in: acquired epilepsy, idiopathic epilepsy or seizure as a clinical sign of some pathology. The history, clinical signs, exams, racial incidence and age range are of paramount importance for the final diagnosis and the most appropriate treatment, providing this animal with a better well-being.
